Suspect from yesterday's searches in the Valmonte/Golf Course area is in custody. Attempted to flee again but was captured this morning. 
Earlier today, PVEPD received a call related to the searches we conducted yesterday. With that information, marked and unmarked police vehicles positioned themselves in the area of Malaga Dunes (west end of the golf course). While officers coordinated addtional resources, the suspect emerged from the canyon area and was able to convince a worker in the area to give him a ride. An alert officer monitoring the area in an unmarked vehicle noticed a vehicle leaving the area and began to follow it. At one point, the officer was able to identify the passenger as the suspect from yesterday. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted in the Triangle area of PV Drive West/North, and the suspect was taken into custody.
