Flash Flood Watch until 07:00AM Friday

...A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Friday morning due to the remnants of Tropical Depression Imelda bringing heavy rain... The National Weather Service in Shreveport has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas, including the following areas, in northwest Louisiana, Bossier, Caddo, De Soto, Natchitoches, Red River, and Sabine. In northeast Texas, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Panola, Rusk, and Smith.

* Through Friday morning.

* Showers and thunderstorms associated with the remnants of Tropical Depression Imelda will move across the region over the next few days. Efficient rainfall rates and training of storms may result in flash flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CADDO ... DE SOTO ... RUSK ... GREGG ... BOSSIER ... SMITH ... NATCHITOCHES ... PANOLA ... RED RIVER ... MARION ... SABINE ... HARRISON ... CHEROKEE
