#1 On SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Top Ten Most Wanted Captured By The Elite Fugitive Squad And U.S. Marshals!

Earlier this afternoon, Larry Demon Edwards was successfully apprehended by members of Sheriff Victor Hill’s Elite Fugitive Squad  and the U.S. Marshals Service at a location in Rex, GA.  Information was obtained from a confidential source that Edwards had been traveling back and forth between Alabama and Georgia.  Further information was received that Edwards was back in Georgia and staying with his girlfriend, Alantis Danielle Duffy, at a location in Rex.  The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Squad with the assistance of the US Marshals Service, went to the residence in Rex.  Upon law enforcement knocking on the door, Duffy looked out the window but did not come to the door.  After units had been knocking on the front door for an extended period of time, the garage door opened and Larry Edwards was observed to be in the drivers-side seat of a black BMW.  The car was running, and Edwards was moving to reverse the vehicle when units intercepted him and gave commands for him to exit the vehicle.  Larry Demon Edwards and Alantis Danielle Duffy were both taken into custody without incident.  Duffy was subsequently charged with Obstruction.

Edwards was wanted out of Clayton County for a True Bill Bench Warrant on the charges of Home Invasion (5 counts), Armed Robbery (12 counts), Kidnapping (6 counts), Aggravated Assault (20 counts), Possession of Firearm During Commission of a Felony (18 counts), Hijacking Motor Vehicle (1 count), Cruelty to Children-1st Degree (3 counts), Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony (2 counts), and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon (13 counts), totaling 80 charges.  These charges stem from incidents which took place on July 1st, 2015, July 9th, 2015, July 12th, 2015, August 17th, 2015, and September 17th, 2015 at locations in Jonesboro, Morrow, and Ellenwood.

Edwards was also wanted for Violation of Probation on the charges of Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officer (2 counts) and Possession of Tools to Commit a Crime.  These charges are the result of Edwards’ failure to notify probation of his whereabouts and failure to pay as ordered, after officers attempted a home visit at Edwards’ last known address on February 15th, 2017, and were unable to make contact with him.

On July 1st, 2015, Edwards participated in a home invasion of a residence in Jonesboro.  During the course of the incident, Edwards took items and currency from the residents of the home.  A female victim was struck in the face and told to shut up after she screamed, while the home invasion was in progress.

On July 9th, 2015, officers responded to a home invasion call at a residence in Jonesboro.  It was determined, through investigation, that Edwards, along with several other perpetrators, had forcibly entered the residence and taken money and items from victims inside the residence.  Two victims were struck in the head with a firearm while the perpetrators demanded money from them.  Another victim had a gun pointed at their temple and was forced to the ground.  A laptop taken during the home invasion was later pawned at a local pawn shop.

On July 12th, 2015, officers were dispatched to another home invasion call at a residence in Morrow.  Edwards and several other attackers had targeted a male victim, his wife, and their three children who had just returned home.  One suspect placed the male victim in a “bear hug” while the others entered the home.  The suspects took items from the residence after the victims had fled the scene.  The male victim had minor injuries which included scrapes and a bloodied nose.

On August 17th, 2015, at a location in Jonesboro, a male victim and a female victim were asleep in their bed when the back door of their residence was kicked in.  Edwards and multiple other attackers entered the location.  The suspects kicked in the bedroom doors of the victims’ children and then entered the adult victims’ room.  The assailants struck the male victim with a gun and slapped the female victim, demanding to know where the money was.  The attackers took items and currency from the victims.

On September 17th, 2015, Edwards participated in another home invasion, during which a male victim was struck in the back of the head with a firearm, causing him to lose consciousness.  The attackers took currency from multiple victims inside the residence while brandishing firearms.

Investigation into the above incidents resulted in the aforementioned charges being brought against Larry Demon Edwards, who was named as one of the suspects in the home invasions.  Subsequently, a warrant was issued for Edwards’ arrest.

Edawards and Duffy are now both guest at “The Hill-ton “ where they are both practicing how to face the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
