On September 12, 2019, detectives assigned to the KCSO Rural Crime Investigation Unit responded to the report of theft of hemp plants near Gun Club and Highway 46 in the Wasco area. While conducting their investigation, detectives located 36-year-old Jesus Guerrero in the area. He was found to be in possession of stolen hemp. Guerrero was booked for two counts of violation of Penal Code 487(B)(1)(A) and one count of violation of Vehicle Code 14601.1(A).
