Wilmington Police have arrested a woman on gun charges following an aggravated menacing investigation.

On August 31, members of the Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant in the 400 block of South Van Buren Street in an attempt to locate 28-year-old Alexis Anthony. Anthony was wanted in connection with an aggravated menacing incident that had occurred on August 24, as well as outstanding capiases.

Police arrested 28-year-old Alexis Anthony without incident and recovered a 9mm handgun.

Anthony was charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
• Aggravated Menacing
• Offensive Touching
• Terroristic Threatening (2 counts)
• Criminal Mischief (2 counts)
• Harassment
