Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division arrest Bruce Gipson for the murder of Percy Jones

LOCATION: 7800 block of Bonnie Street, Highland
SUSPECT: Bruce Lee Gipson, 34-year-old resident of Highland
VICTIM: Percy Jones, 20-year-old male
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at approximately 1:23 pm, deputies from the Highland Sheriff’s Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 7800 block of Bonnie Street in Highland. When deputies arrived they found Percy Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Percy was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, responded to the location to conduct the investigation. The suspect was identified as Bruce Gipson, he was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center for PC 187 Murder.
