Phragmite Treatment
From September 12 to approximately September 27 the Macomb County Department of Roads will be working in partnership with our community to treat the invasive weed, Phragmites, growing in road right of way throughout the community. The Contractor awarded this project is Wildlife and Wetlands Solutions, LLC., and will be treating the affected ditches sometime during that time frame. Residents who wish to opt out of having the treatment done on road right-of-way adjoining their property may do so by completing an “Application Form Phragmites Control Program No Treatment Zone Permit” If you have questions, contact Bonnie in Department of Public Works 586-677-4230
