Full Notification

Sheboygan Police responded to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, 2629 North 7th, reference a male adult experiencing a mental health crisis.  Police have contained the area and ask that all residents avoid the area until the incident is resolved.  This includes proceeding to that location for previously scheduled appointments.

Update:  As of 5:30 pm on 9/9/19 this situation has resolved itself.  The man responsible for this event is with police and he is being evaluated.  The man was armed during the beginning of this event but gave up that weapon and surrendered without incident.  Nobody was injured during this event.  Traffic patterns around the hospital have returned to normal.
