Dearborn Armed Robberies
 
Dearborn, MI - On Friday, September 6, 2019, between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm in the area of Steadman and Morross officers responded to the area for an armed robbery.
 
Later in the area of Bingham and Morross, Dearborn officers responded on report of a woman who was robbed at gunpoint.  While responding, officers received an additional report of a male who was assaulted at gun point in the same general area.  
 
The suspects that approached the three separate victims are described as #1: male, short, wearing a white mask and wearing all black clothing. #2: male, tall, thin build, wearing all black clothing.
 
Chief Haddad stated, “These are the type of incidents that call for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.  Please check your home security videos that may contain valuable information to solve these crimes.”  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Dearborn Police Department at (313) 943-2241.

Incident Update
 
Dearborn, MI - On September 6th, 2019, at approximately 9:40 pm, Dearborn Police Officers responded to the area of Steadman and Morross for an armed robbery.  While conducting the investigation, officers were dispatched to the 7800 block of Bingham on a report of a woman who had been shot.  
 
The investigation on Bingham revealed that a 29 year old female was approached by multiple subjects on the street.  She was subsequently shot during an apparent robbery.  Afterwards the subjects fled the scene.  Dearborn Fire Rescue transported the victim to Henry Ford Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.  The identity of the victim is not being released at this time. 
 
The attached vehicle was observed on multiple surveillance systems and is believed to be the suspect vehicle. 
 
This incident is still under investigation so this information is subject to change.  Additional details will be released as they become available.
 
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated “The Dearborn Police Department sends its condolences to the family and friends of the victim and will aggressively investigate this crime utilizing all available resources.   We are urging the public to come forward and provide information to help identify the suspects.”
