Due to a local solidarity strike supporting a labor dispute in the East Coast, Republic Services will not be able to provide collection services (including garbage, recycling, and organics) in the Tri-City area today (Friday, September 6th). Republic Services will attempt to provide service to all affected Friday pick-up customers by tomorrow (Saturday, September 7th). Friday customers should therefore have their containers out for pick-up on Saturday morning.
Republic Services will be reaching out to all affected customers with additional details via telephone. In the event that a Friday customer does not receive service by Saturday, Republic Services will provide additional direct outreach regarding service.
