On Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 10:23 pm, a resident in the 19200 block of Elkhart reported shots being fired in the area.
Responding officers met with witnesses who pointed out the area the shots were believed to be coming from. Officers investigated the scene and recovered two shotgun shell casings from the street near a vehicle that sustained damage. During the course of the investigation officers located two victims that were involved in the incident; they were not injured. Officers did not find any additional damage in the area. As of this morning, we have not received any reports of injuries from this incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
