OWI 5th Arrest 
On 9-4-19 at 12:48 AM Janesville Police stopped a vehicle near Garfield Av. and E. Centerway knowing the operator has a revoked license. Upon contacting the vehicle, the driver smelled of intoxicants. Standard field sobriety tests confirmed the driver was impaired. A department of transportation records check showed the operator had 4 prior OWI convictions. A search warrant was obtained in order to collect a blood sample from the operator with results pending. The suspect is currently at the Rock Co. Jail pending his initial appearance in court.
