Sheboygan Police Investigate School Threat. A student has been arrested. Police determine no threat to school or community.
On 9/2/19, a concerned parent reported to Sheboygan Police that their child had seen a social media post inferring a threat to South High School to occur 09/03/19. Sheboygan Police investigated the matter and identified the 15 year old student responsible for the posting. It was determined that the threat was not credible and there is no threat to the school or community. The student was arrested referred to juvenile authorities. The Sheboygan Area School District was immediately advised of the incident. The Sheboygan Police Department and the Sheboygan Area School District take such threats very seriously. We encourage parents to speak with their children about the seriousness and the ramifications of such threats and to monitor their children’s social media accounts.
