Death Investigation Press Release
The cause of death is under investigation and the identity of the decedents is unknown. Investigators have also responded to the scene.
The immediate area around the Torrance Beach will be closed for the duration of the investigation. There are no expected street closures at this time, and vehicular traffic should not be impacted.
Death Investigation Press Release 
On Friday, August 30, 2019 at approximately 6:57 AM, Torrance Police Officers responded to the Torrance Beach regarding a subject down in the sand. Upon arrival, Officers unfortunately discovered two deceased male adults on the sand.
The cause of death is under investigation and the identity of the decedents is unknown. Investigators have also responded to the scene.
The immediate area around the Torrance Beach will be closed for the duration of the investigation. There are no expected street closures at this time, and vehicular traffic should not be impacted.
