See link for a special message from Chief Haddad regarding an email scam.
Residents,
Recently some residents have reported receiving a suspicious email claiming Dearborn Crime has increased 78% and residents should purchase security cameras. This is a scam email.
I want all residents to know that this email did not come from the City of Dearborn or the City Council. In fact, Crime is down 14% year to date in the city. Residents should disregard the email and not click on any links within the email.
This email is yet another scam attempting to spread false information and pressure residents into spending needless money. All residents are asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police department.

Thank you and have a safe holiday weekend!
