August 19th

Auto Burglary - 9800 San Pablo Ave:
At approximately 6:49 am, an officer reported that a white Toyota Highlander was loitering around the parking lot at the same time the victim’s truck was burglarized. The loss was a backpack and a Volvo key.

Warrant Arrest - Starbucks 11861 San Pablo Ave:
At 10:19 am, an officer contacted a 50-year-old Richmond resident who was wanted on a parolee-at-large warrant. He was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary – 3400 block of Belmont Ave:
At 11:27 am, an officer responded to the report of a residential burglary. At 9:30 am, an unknown suspect kicked the front door of the residence. Once inside the residence, the suspect forced open a bedroom door.

Commercial Burglary 5800 El Dorado St:
At 11:38 am, an officer responded to the report of a construction site burglary.

Robbery – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 9:45 pm, an officer accepted the citizen’s arrest of a 54-year-old male after he entered the business, concealed items, and left without paying. Store security attempted to stop the male but he threatened to retrieve a firearm. Fearing he may have a firearm, store security tackled the male. Officers arrived and took custody of the male. The male was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

August 20th

Auto Burglary – 800 block of Sea view Dr:
At 9:46 am, an officer responded to the report of an auto burglary. In between 9:00 am on 08/19/19 and 9:00 am this morning, an unidentified suspect smashed the window of a Toyota and stole property.

Strong Arm Robbery - 11687 San Pablo Ave:
At 12:10 pm, an officer responded to the report of a suspect who walked behind the counter and stole packages of Newport cigarettes. The clerk confronted him and the suspect took a swing at him and missed.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – School Street and S. 55th Street:
At 7:01 pm, an officer located a vehicle which was reported stolen to the ECPD on 8/18/19. The vehicle was processed for evidence then released to the owner.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Waldo Avenue:
At 1:44 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver, a 34-year-old female from El Cerrito, for two outstanding warrants. The female was booked then taken to the county jail.

August 21st

Auto Burglary – 11450 San Pablo Avenue:
At 1:32 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered a window to the victim’s vehicle and removed property. The suspect then entered a blue vehicle and fled the scene.

Driving Under the Influence – Fairmount Avenue and Lexington Avenue:
At 3:17 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver, a 24-year-old male, for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. The male was taken into custody, booked, and then released to a sober friend.

August 22nd

Stolen Vehicle – 2700 block of Del Monte Ave:
At 9:51 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle sometime overnight. The vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle system.

Stolen Vehicle – 5500 block of Macdonald Avenue:
At 9:38 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle at 7:30 am after the victim left their jacket and keys in front of their residence. The vehicle was recovered a short distance away. Neighbors in the area where the vehicle was left saw a suspect running away from the vehicle.

Commercial Burglary – 10100 to 10300 block of San Pablo Avenue:
During the course of the shift, officers responded to several reports of a business’s being burglarized. Sometime overnight, two unknown suspects broke windows to several businesses and then entered them. Once inside, the suspects ransacked the interior taking some property. The suspects then stole a vehicle and continued their crime spree in the cities of Walnut Creek and Martinez.

August 23rd

Residential Burglary – 8500 block of Betty Ln:
At 8:09 am, a Community Service Officer reports that an unknown person entered a residential home which was under renovation and removed building materials.

Residential Burglary – 5400 block of Silva Ave:
At 3:59 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect gained access to the home, which was for sale, and removed several pieces of staging furniture.

DUI – San Pablo Ave/Central Ave:
An officer arrested a 26-year-old Daly City man for DUI during a traffic stop. He was arrested, booked, and released to a sober friend.

August 24th

Shoplifting – 11319 San Pablo Ave (Chevron):
At 1:22 pm, an officer reports that an unknown suspect entered the business, selected beer, and other merchandise before exiting the store without providing payment.

Petty Theft – 1500 block of Richmond St:
At 4:55 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect walked up to the victim’s front door and stole a package which had recently been delivered.

Grand Theft – 10700 block of San Pablo Ave
At 4:55 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle.

Vandalism – 1000 block of Richmond St:
At 11:59 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the front window of the victim’s residence with a BB gun.

Vandalism – 700 block of Pomona Ave:
At 12:08 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the back window of the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun.

Vandalism – 1100 block of Navellier St:
At 12:22 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the front driver side window of the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun.

Vandalism – Hotchkiss Ave/Pomona Ave:
At 12:33 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the rear driver side window of the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun.

Vandalism – 1200 block of Navellier St:
At 12:45 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the front driver side window of the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun.

Vandalism – 7000 block of Fairmount Ave:
At 1:04 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the rear driver side window of the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun.

Vandalism – 700 block of Ashbury:
At 1:45 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the rear driver side window of the victim’s vehicle with a BB gun.

August 25th

Auto Burglary – 6600 block of Blake St:
At 11:48 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect used a tool to unlock the door to the victim’s vehicle. Once inside the vehicle, the suspect removed a pair of sunglasses and other miscellaneous property.

Shoplifting – 11565 San Pablo Ave (Walgreens):
At 3:36 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the business and selected numerous personal hygiene products before fleeing.

August 26th

Petty Theft – 7000 block of Cutting Blvd:
At 11:03 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed change from the center console.

Vandalism – 1000 block of Navellier St:
At 01:03 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke a window to the victim’s residence with a BB gun.
