Weekend Car Thefts in Wards 1, 2 and 3 
The Westfield Police Department responded to three vehicle thefts that occurred early Sunday: one on Thomas Court (Ward 2), one on Roger Avenue (Ward 3), and one on Bradford Avenue (Ward 1). All three vehicles were unlocked, and all had either keys or a key fob inside.
Video obtained shows the suspects pulling car door handles and entering multiple other unlocked vehicles to determine if keys were inside. The Westfield Police Department once again reminds all residents to secure any belongings inside of vehicles and keep them locked at all times. These thefts remain under investigation and residents are asked to contact the WPD with any related information or evidence.
Car thefts also occurred in Berkeley Heights over the weekend, and in Roselle Park last week.
