The South Londonderry Township Police Department is investigating a series of incidents that occurred overnight, between 1:30am and 6:00am in the 2200 Block of South Forge Road and the “Weaber Development.” Vehicles on several streets were entered including Beech, Galen, Debra, Darlene, Stanley, and Weaber Avenue. Over a dozen unlocked vehicles were entered with items stolen. A vehicle was also stolen and later recovered. A handgun was among the items stolen from one of the vehicles. The investigation is continuing.

Residents are encouraged to lock unattended vehicles. We are also asking residents with home surveillance cameras to check their footage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Department at (717)838-1376, or e-mail [email protected].
