On August 21, 2019, at around 9:00 p.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies from the Mojave and Rosamond Substations responded to a report of a possible burglary in Boron.
When deputies arrived on the 26000 block of Nudgent Street, they saw someone turn the lights off and a person moving inside the residence. The homeowner had advised no one should be inside.
Deputies found a man and a woman inside the residence. Both were arrested for burglary.
24-year-old Michael Nelson was booked into the Kern County Central Receiving Facility for felony burglary, obstructing a peace officer, and multiple warrants.
24-year-old Elaine Penteria was arrested for burglary.
