#PomonaPD Rescue 17-year-old Human Trafficking Victim

On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 21st, Pomona Police Department Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) officers were conducting undercover surveillance on E. Holt Ave. also known as the Holt Ave. Corridor. During officers’ surveillance efforts, they observed two females loitering in the area. Based on observation, it appeared that one female was teaching the other female how to offer sexual acts in an exchange for money. When officers approached both females, it was discovered one of the females was a 17-year-old juvenile.
