Media Advisory: Injury traffic collision 45th St. at Hollis St.
On Wednesday afternoon, 8/21/19, at 3:34 p.m. a 911 call regarding an injury accident at Hollis St and 45th St. was received by the Emeryville dispatch center. The first officer arrived on scene in less than one minute and determined it was a solo vehicle versus a pedestrian accident. Emergency medical services arrived and transported one adult male for a head injury. The male is in stable condition and is being treated at an area hospital. The driver remained on scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor. Anyone who witnessed the collision who did not speak to the officers on scene are encouraged to call the Emeryville Police Traffic Section at 510-596-3700.
