Shooting in the 100 block of S. First St. 
On Sunday, August 18, 2019, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Turlock Police officers responded to the 100 block of S. First Street after receiving calls that someone had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim that had sustained at least one gunshot wound. Officers provided medical aid to the victim until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local area hospital in critical condition. The victim is now stable.
Throughout the preliminary stages of this investigation, it has been determined that the suspect walked out of the business establishment in the 100 block of S. First Street and fired a weapon in the direction of the victim who was with three additional patrons outside. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival, in a grey sedan or SUV (picture attached). The suspect was described as an adult Hispanic male, about 40 years of age, 5’10” to 6’00” tall, approximately 200 pounds, wearing a blue polo shirt and blue jeans.
No other information about the identity of the victim will be released.
Investigators believe there were multiple witnesses and that the incident was possibly video recorded. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Detective Frank Navarro at (209) 664-7319.
