Due to a planned water service outage to repair a water main on Sunday, August 18, 2019 beginning at 7am, the following areas are now under a boil order until further notice:  Carmi Family Dental, The Coffee Shop, Dimaggio's Pizza, CVS, USDA office, all of April Avenue, Jill Street, Kathy Street, Kirk Street, Shane Street, Lynn Street, all of Montgomery Circle, the south side of West Main Street from house numbers 901-1011, the west side of College Blvd from house numbers 113-423.  Because of this disturbance in your water service, the following education materials are available as a resource to you about the lead risk in drinking water:  http://cityofcarmi.org/leadriskinformation.  The City of Carmi apologies for any inconvenience.
