Full Notification

TxDOT will be installing a new driving surface on SH5 (chip seal) starting today, Wednesday, August 14. The installation should be complete in the next week.
 
The new surface will be installed from Stacy Road north to the old rail road  tracks where they stopped the surface installation a few weeks ago. This process will involve spraying oil and rock on the pavement, followed by sweeping up the excess. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
 
No closures are expected, but delays will be expected.
