Employee of the Month
The Jackson Police Department is pleased to announce Officer Joseph Mitchell as "Employee of the Month" for the month of August. Officer Mitchell has eight years of service with the Jackson Police Department where he is currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
Officer Mitchell is consistently working hard to meet the needs of this department and the citizens of Jackson. Officer Mitchell always has such a positive attitude. His attitude can brighten a room. His attitude reflects his actions. He has a very positive work ethic. He is willing to go the extra mile for is co-workers and the citizens of this city. His talent in dealing with consumers is extraordinary.
He never meets a stranger and is very sensitive to the needs of people with whom he has contact on daily basis. He is known to stop and assist people even when off duty.
Officer Mitchell has two children whom he loves deeply. He is extremely family oriented.
