Subject: Dunkin’ Cop on a Rooftop

On Friday, August 16, 2019, the Sun Prairie Police Department will once again be participating in the Cop on a Rooftop Law Enforcement Torch Run event at the Sun Prairie Dunkin’ location (950 Windsor Street). The event will run from 6:00am to 11:00am. All proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics of Wisconsin. The Sun Prairie Police Department will be joined by members of the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department, Sun Prairie EMS Department, and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

This year will be the fifth year that the Sun Prairie Police Department has been involved in this event and we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from community members who have attended the event. It is important to remember that this event benefits Special Olympics Wisconsin, including a large number of athletes from our own community.
