Highland Station deputy treated and released following Saturday traffic accident

LOCATION: 9th Street / Palm Avenue, Highland
SUMMARY: On Saturday, August 03, 2019 at about 2:12 p.m., a deputy from the Highland Police Station was responding to a call and was stopped at a stop sign located on 9th Street. While stopped, a driver traveling southbound on Palm Avenue lost control of their vehicle and hit the deputy’s patrol car. The deputy was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries and later released. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured during the traffic collision.
