...Areas of Dense Fog Possible across Portions of Central Alabama... The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.
* VISIBILITY...may drop to one quarter of a mile or less at times this morning.
* IMPACTS...of the low visibilities could make travel hazardous.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ETOWAH ... ST. CLAIR ... CHEROKEE ... FAYETTE ... WINSTON ... WALKER ... LAMAR ... BLOUNT ... MARION ... CALHOUN
Instructions:
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to a quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
