MLK Ave. Closed UIntil 11 pm this evening 
Martin Luther King Ave. will remain closed to vehicle traffic through the afternoon rush hour and until at least 11 pm tonight. JCP&L crews are on site working to restore the damaged utilities as a result of an overnight motor vehicle crash. JCP&L is hoping to re-energize those without power as soon as the lines have been repaired and it is safe to do so. Severe weather will likely hamper ongoing efforts by the crews.
The roadway will remain closed between George St. and Abbett Ave. until at least 11 pm. Please follow the established detour and plan alternate routes around the affected area.
