Deputies arrest two suspects following a short pursuit and an attempt to flee on foot

SUSPECTS: Joshua Gleason, age 25 a resident of San Bernardino, Dylan Soto, age 28 a resident of Yorba Linda
VICTIM: KD Electric
SUMMARY:
On July 30, 2019, deputies from the Highland Police Department located a reported stolen white utility truck. Deputies attempted a traffic stop on Tippecanoe near 6th Street but the driver failed to stop. The driver, identified as Joshua Gleason, drove recklessly through the streets of San Bernardino. Gleason lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of Waterman Avenue and Mill Street, sheared a tree, and hit parked vehicles in a parking lot. Gleason exited the vehicle and fled but was arrested a short time later. The passenger, 28-year-old Dylan Soto of Yorba Linda, fled as well but was detained during the investigation. Gleason was arrested for Felony Evading, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and outstanding felony warrants. Soto was arrested for outstanding warrants.
