On 07/26/19 at approximately 0723 hours, the Lakeport Police Department responded to a possible burglary at Plaza Paints. Shortly thereafter at around 0923 hours, the Lakeport Police Department responded to the Lakeport Christian Preschool for a report of another burglary. At this time, the incidents are believed to be connected. There was also a sign that was left behind on scene and it is believed to have been left there by the person involved. If anyone knows or has seen the subject in possession of this sign and can identify them, please let us know.
As a reminder, we as a police department want to remind everyone that if they see any suspicious activity and/or individual(s) during the late night hours to please call your local agency. Additionally, we have attached photos from the incident and are requesting the publics assistance in apprehending the individual(s) involved in this matter.
