NARRATIVE:
On 07/25/2019 at approximately 1931 hours, Pomona Police Dispatch received a 911 call reference a victim of a shooting in the 1500 block of W. Grand Ave. Upon officers arrival, they found a male adult unconscious and not breathing. First responders attempted life saving measures but they were unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit have taken over the investigation and are following up on leads. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Pomona Police Department’s Detective Bureau. The name of the victim is being withheld pending Coroner identification and notification of the victim’s family.
