Sheriff Victor Hill has ordered a manhunt for a man identified as Clifford Devon Bonds for the charge of murder and has placed Bonds #1 on his top ten most wanted.  Bonds pictured below is described as a 18 year old black male with brown eyes, black hair, weighing approximately 140 pounds, and approximately 5ft9 in height.  Bonds is to be considered armed and dangerous and if spotted 911 should be dialed immediately.  Anyone with information on Bonds whereabouts should contact the Fugitive Squad at 770-477-4477.

Bonds was involved in a “robbery gone bad” that resulted in one of his co-robbers being shot to death.  As a result, all of the robbers in this “robbery gone bad” are being held responsible for the death of their co-conspirator.  The details go as follows:

On July 14th, 2019, a female and three other individuals, Beldon Roger Sparks, Towheed Sylvester Gary, and Clifford Devon Bonds, had planned to rob a male who had come to the residence to meet with the victim, whom he had met on Instagram.  During the course of the attempted robbery a shoot out transpired between the robbers and the intended victim of the robbery.  The female who set up the robbery was shot in the head during the shoot out and later succumbed to her injuries. 

Juanita Cassandra Jones, a cousin of the female that was shot, was present at the time of the attempted robbery and shooting, was taken into custody at the scene.  Jones changed her story multiple times, but admitted to having prior knowledge of the attempted robbery.  Jones is now facing the wall at “The Hill-ton” on charges of Murder During the Commission of a Felony, Armed Robbery, and False Statements.

Beldon Sparks, a participant in the attempted armed robbery, was taken into custody by the Columbus Police Department in Muscogee County, Georgia.  Sparks is charged with Murder During the Commission of a Felony, Armed Robbery, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  Sparks is now facing the wall at “The Hill-ton”

On July 24th, 2019, Towheed Sylvester Gary, another suspect in the attempted robbery, was taken into custody by the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Squad at a location in Morrow.  Gary is also charged with Murder During the Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Armed Robbery.  Gary is now facing the wall at “The Hill-ton”.

With 3 down and 1 to go the Sheriff’s elite Fugitive Squad is currently hunting for Bonds so that he can join his robbing friends and face the wall with them at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail, now better known to all as “The Hill-ton”.
