#021 Suspicious Circumstances
A reporting party called police to report two subjects were seen on video surveillance as they walked through the backyard of a residence located in the 300 block of G Street.  Suspect #1 was a white male adult wearing a blue t-shirt and black jeans, and suspect #2 was a white female adult wearing a black shirt and black pants, carrying a backpack. Officers searched the area, and the suspects were not located.

#016 DUI Collision
Officer Taylor was dispatched to a report of a vehicle collision in the area of Mission Boulevard/ Nursery.  The caller reported the vehicle had collided with a pole. Upon investigation it was determined that the driver, a 31 year old, displayed signs of being under the influence. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

#018 and 019 Auto Burglaries
CSO Gaffney was dispatched to a report of two auto burglaries which occurred at Olive Garden’s parking lot which occurred sometime between 8:25-9:45 p.m.

#007 Brandishing a Weapon (Unfounded)
Officers were dispatched to the Southlake Mobile Home Park on report of a brandishing incident with a gun.  Security advised that a male brandished a gun at him and then entered the restroom near the pool cabana.  Three people were detained after a surround and callout.  Neither the gun nor any other corroborating evidence was found to substantiate the brandishing incident.

#025 Auto Burglary 
Two males broke into a vehicle on Chaplin Drive and the victim chased them into Quarry Lakes causing the suspects to drop tools.  Several Fremont officers, East Bay Parks Officers, and an East Bay Parks Helicopter searched the area.  K9 Officer Smith deployed his tracking bloodhound K9 Xena and she led him directly to one suspect, a 24 year old man, hiding in the bushes.  A want’s check revealed the man had three outstanding warrants and was partially identified by the victim.  The second male was not located.

#030 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officers Singh and Balcorta were dispatched to the area of Blacow Road/Norris Road on the report of a male running through traffic on Blacow Road, then laying down and screaming at the sky.  The 18 year old was located and arrested for public intoxication. Case investigated by Officer Rommelfanger and FTO Lobue.

#036 Auto Burglary Arrests 
Just before 9:00 p.m., officers were checking Mowry East for auto burglary activity and specifically a silver Mazda SUV responsible for numerous auto burglaries in several cities, including Fremont.  Over the last two weeks, it has hit shopping centers in all three zones of Fremont.  Video of the suspects was captured the night prior where a large sum of cash was lost from a vehicle in Mowry East.  Officer Soper spotted the vehicle in the Mowry East shopping center and it immediately fled northbound I880.  A pursuit was initiated.   Officers followed the vehicle.   The suspect car was disabled after it sideswiped another vehicle then crashed into the sound wall on I880 south of Whipple Rd.  The three occupants of the suspect vehicle were all detained.  Two suspects, a 21 year old and a 19 year old were booked at Santa Rita Jail.  The driver of the suspect vehicle was admitted to the hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.  The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.   Loss from auto burglaries was recovered from the vehicle.

#038 DUI Collision
Officers responded to a roll over collision on Curtner Rd.  The caller told dispatch the vehicle was on fire and the driver/solo occupant was trapped inside.  Officer Trzewieczynski arrived on scene and located the driver who was trapped, injured and yelling for help.  Officer Trzewieczynski acted quickly and heroically by entering the rear of the burning vehicle and pulling the driver to safety.  The driver was transported to a trauma center with moderate injuries and was believed to be under the influence of alcohol. Investigation ongoing.

#021 Indecent Exposure
A victim called police to report that while stopped in the area of 5680 Stewart Ave, a vehicle pulled up next to her and asked her to come closer to his car.  The victim noted the male was exposing himself.  The suspect drove off in the direction of Christy St.  The suspect was described as a white, male, 30-30 years old, 200 lbs., bald, wearing a gray shirt with green trim.  The suspect vehicle was described as light colored Dodge Dart and the license plate ended in “999.” Officer Hanrahan investigated and documented the case.

#032 Stolen Vehicle Arrest
Officer Gonzales located a reported stolen vehicle northbound on Mission Blvd at Washington.  Once sufficient units arrived to assist, Officer Cordero initiated a high risk stop on the vehicle on Mission near Stevenson Blvd.  The vehicle yielded and a 35 year old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and stolen proerty.

#028 Robbery Arrest
Officers were dispatched to the pharmacy in Lucky’s Mowry Ave on the report of a robbery.  The suspect presented a note asking for medication.  The suspect fled the store with the medication.  The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 40 years, 5’03- 5’04 tall, with a missing tooth, last seen wearing a white shirt and jeans.  While checking the area, Officer Cavaz located a parked car that contained a passenger who matched the above description.  The passenger, identified as a 25  year old man was positively identified and arrested for robbery and three felony theft warrants.  Case investigated by Officer Montojo.

#001 Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm
Officer Berrier located a suspicious vehicle parked behind Extended Stay on Farwell and contacted a 49 year old man.  The man had a misdemeanor warrant for narcotics violations. During his arrest, Officer Berrier located some drugs in the man’s pocket. A search of the car yielded more drugs and a stolen unloaded rifle. The man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales and felon in possession of a firearm.

#019 Robbery and Battery Arrest
A victim was jogging in the area of Grimmer Blvd and Auto Mall Pkwy when an unknown man unsuccessfully attempted to take away his cell phone. The suspect spat on the victim before leaving  the area. Officer Gonzales located a 37 year old man in a nearby parking lot and took him into custody for robbery, battery, and a probation violation after being identified by the victim.
 
#024 Robbery
A robbery occurred in the area of Vancouver Common and Mowry Avenue when a suspect used force to take the victim’s bicycle.  The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Officer Gentry is investigating the case.
 
#039 DUI Arrest
Officers responded to Taco Bell on Grimmer Blvd regarding a male driver passed out in a vehicle that was parked in the drive-thru lane. Officer Floresca contacted and arrested the 33 year old man for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Robbery (Late Reported)
A 13 year old reported that three suspects robbed him of his Apple Watch as he was riding his bike near his house on McDuff.  He described the suspects as two Black male juveniles and one Hispanic male juvenile who were all wearing red clothing.  Investigated by Officer Rose.

#010 Robbery (Late Reported)
A victim came to the PD lobby and reported that on Sunday, an unknown suspect pointed a gun at her and stole her money and jewelry.  There was no explanation as to why she waited until today to report the crime.  Investigated by Officer Sun.

#030 Robbery
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Hyde Co on the report of a robbery.  The female resident was getting into her car in her garage when a subject entered and attempted to steal items.  The male resident wrestled with the suspect before he was able to flee on foot northbound onto Irvington.  The suspect was described as a while male, 50 years old, wearing a green and yellow shirt, blue jeans, white trucker hat, and black backpack.  Case investigated by Officer Higgins.

#041 Evading Arrest – Stolen Vehicle
Officer Calvin spotted a suspicious vehicle (dark colored Jeep) in the area of Irvington Ave and Thurston Co.  Officer Calvin provided the license plate to dispatch and they advised it was stolen out of Hayward.  A pursuit was initiated and after a short distance, the stolen vehicle traveled the wrong way on Grimmer Blvd and the pursuit was terminated.  The stolen vehicle was driven by a white male and was last seen in the area of Stevenson Blvd and Hwy I880.
