Traffic Alert – Freeway Closures
Part of the I-5 will close for two nights for the I-5/Main Street Carpool Bridge Demolition. It is scheduled for Friday night, August 2, and Saturday, August 3, 2019.
There will be a full closure on northbound I-5 between SR-55 and SR-22, a full closure on Main Street between Santa Clara Avenue and Main Place Drive, partial closure on southbound I-5 between Gene Autry Way to Main Street, as well as various on and off ramp closures. Please see schedule below for time details.
Friday night, August 2, 2019:
Main Street: Full closure, Santa Clara Avenue to MainPlace Drive (10 p.m. to 10 a.m.)
NB I-5: Full closure, SR-55 to SR-22 (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
NB SR-55 connector to NB I-5: Full closure (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
NB SR-55 carpool connector to NB I-5: Full closure (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.)
NB SR-57 carpool connector to NB I-5: Full closure (Midnight to 8 a.m.)
Saturday night, August 3, 2019:
NB I-5: Full closure, SR-55 to SR-22 (11 p.m. to 9 a.m.)
NB SR-55 connector to NB I-5: Full closure (11 p.m. to 9 a.m.)
NB SR-55 carpool connector to NB I-5: Full closure (10 p.m. to 10 a.m.)
NB SR-57 carpool connector to NB I-5: Full closure (Midnight to 10 a.m.)
