Public Assistance Request for Burglary and Stolen Vehicles Reply with TIP

Request for public assistance:

On 7/22/2019 at approximately 0835 hours Lakeport Police Officers responded to the Redwood Community Services Office located at 160 S Main St for a report of a burglary. It was reported to the investigating officers that computers, gas cards, a 2009 Gold Toyota Matrix (License Plate# 6ZAY739) and a 2011 White Toyota Corolla (License Plate#6PAJ832) had been stolen from the office using keys that were stored inside a cabinet. Many of the offices and desks throughout the building had been rifled through and a safe had been damaged by an attempt to break into it.  The investigating officers located several items in the building that are suspected to have been used to break in to locked cabinets as well as other items that are believed to have belonged to a suspect involved. It is not known at this time how the suspect(s) made entry into the building as all the windows and doors were locked and undamaged at the time the crime was discovered by the reporting parties.

Attached to this post are images of what the stolen vehicles look like. If you see these vehicles do not confront them yourself, contact your local law enforcement department or call 9-1-1.
