Flash Flood Warning until 05:30AM

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Harding County in northeastern New Mexico... Northeastern Quay County in east central New Mexico... Southeastern Union County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 530 AM MDT.

* At 223 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area and flash flooding is expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bueyeros and Rosebud with abrupt and excessive runoff into the Mosquero, Tesquesquite, Ute, and Monia Creeks.

* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM ... HARDING, NM ... UNION, NM

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.
