* At 934 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Liberty, or 6 miles northeast of Coffeyville, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Coffeyville, Independence, Chetopa, Edna, Dearing, Liberty, Bartlett, Angola and Coffeyville Airport.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LABETTE, KS ... MONTGOMERY, KS
Instructions:
Prepare immediately for large hail and especially damaging winds. People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows.
