Hawk Fire under control
Hawk Fire under control 
A small fire on Hawk Lane near Houston High School is under control and contained. State of Alaska Division of Forestry and Houston Fire Department are on scene finishing mitigating the remaining smoldering area. Less than half acre in size. Houston would like to thank Forestry for a very rapid response with engines and helicopter to bring the fire under control. Investigation continues.
