* At 452 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Over one inch of rain has already fallen in a short amount of time. This will cause flooding in the advisory area, especially in urban and poor drainage areas.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerville, Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro, Carteret, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Middlesex, Princeton, Bound Brook and Manville.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLESEX, NJ ... SOMERSET, NJ ... MONMOUTH, NJ ... MERCER, NJ
