NOTICE OF STREET CLOSURES AND DETOURS
Dates: Saturday, July 20, 2019
Time: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Event: Rivertown Revival

The annual Rivertown Revival Festival will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Steamer Landing Park on the historic McNear Peninsula. This lively and fun event attracts thousands of people and vehicle traffic in the area is significantly impacted. In an effort to keep traffic flowing and pedestrians safe; the following closures and detours will take place:

• No left turn- Northbound traffic on Lakeville St at the intersection of D Street will NOT be able turn left (westbound) onto D Street from Lakeville St.
• No left turn- Westbound traffic on D Street at the intersection of S. Copeland Street will NOT be able to turn left (southbound) onto S. Copeland Street at Stemmer landing. Those wishing to turn onto S. Copeland Street to access the small parking lot for Stemmer Landing must do so from eastbound D Street.
• Southbound traffic on Copeland Street will be completely closed. No left or right turn- Westbound and Eastbound traffic on Washington Street at the intersection of Copeland St will NOT be able to turn left or right (southbound) onto Copeland Street from Washington Street. People attending the event are encouraged to arrive early, carpool or take public transportation.

Petaluma Transit is offering Free Bus Rides to all riders on Saturday, from 7:30am-8:25pm. The service will operate as usual without any deviations/closed bus stops. Route 11 will travel from Eastside Transit Center, through downtown and D Street (eastbound) and make a left onto Copeland St where folks attending the event can exit the bus. Route 2 and Route 33 connect to Route 11.

The Police Department will be working this event to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. The Petaluma Police appreciates the public’s patience and understanding and requests those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel.
