Ford Center Open as a Cooling Center during regular hours of operation. 
Chief Haddad, reminds residents to stay cool during this hot weather and exercise caution when outdoors. Also, check on friends, neighbors or family who may be susceptible to the hot conditions.
Residents welcome to beat the heat at The Center during regular business hours
We love the summer, but the temperatures are going to be a little extreme this week. If you need to cool off during the day, you are welcome to come to the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center during regular business hours and sit in the public areas, including the Senior Citizen Lounge.
The Center is located at 15801 Michigan Ave. and open from 5:30 a.m. -9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. As always, in intense weather conditions, please check on elderly neighbors or others who may need extra care.
