* Flood Advisory for... Northern Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Southern Mercer County in central New Jersey... Northern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Southern Monmouth County in central New Jersey... South central Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...
* Until 745 PM EDT.
* At 347 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause flooding in the advisory area, especially in urban and poor drainage areas. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen in a short amount of time.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include... Toms River, Trenton, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, Manalapan, Ewing, Tinton Falls, Manasquan, Hightstown, Point Pleasant Beach, Bordentown, Yardley, Allentown, Farmingdale, Roosevelt, Mantoloking, Allenwood, East Freehold and Six Flags Theme Park.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLESEX, NJ ... MONMOUTH, NJ ... OCEAN, NJ ... BURLINGTON, NJ ... MERCER, NJ
Instructions:
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots. A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
