Thunderstorms may result in flash flooding Wednesday and Thursday. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect at 2:00 PM for most NJ counties. Extremely hot and humid conditions continue today. An Excessive Heat Warning is posted through Sunday for Gloucester, NW Burlington, Camden, and Mercer Counties. A Heat Advisory is posted through Sunday for most remaining central and southern counties.
IMPACTS TO NEW JERSEY
Heavy precipitation may cause localized flooding where rainfall is heaviest, in urban centers, low-lying areas, roadways, locations with poor drainage, and waterways. Extreme heat can cause life-threatening illnesses for vulnerable populations, pets, and people working outside. Monitor local forecasts as storms develop for additional advisories, watches, and warnings Wednesday.
