Please be prepared this evening for thunderstorms, damaging winds, and flash flooding followed by a dangerous heat index this weekend.  The heaviest rain is predicted between 7pm and 2am tonight. There will be dangerous heat and humidity this afternoon and again Saturday and Sunday for the entire Tri-State Area.  The heat index will be up to 111 on Saturday during the peak of the heat.  Please make sure you are prepared in the event of a power outage, and continue to monitor the weather reports.
