Harper Woods detectives identified and arrested JEREMIAH DEWAYNE HARRIS, a 22 year old Macomb County resident, for his involvement in the June 28, 2019 shooting which occurred at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 19930 Kelly. HARRIS was involved in a shoot-out which resulted in an innocent bystander being shot one time. Harper Woods detectives identified HARRIS and verified he did not fire the shot that injured the bystander. The shooting victim has been treated and is recovering from his injury.
On July 12, 2019 HARRIS was arraigned and formally charged in 32-A District Court in front of the Honorable Judge Daniel S. Palmer with:

Count 2: Weapons-Felony Firearm
Count 3: Weapons-Felony Firearm
Count 4: Weapons-Ammunition-Possession By Felon
Count 5: Weapons-Carrying Concealed
HARRIS has a Preliminary Examination date scheduled for July 31, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in 32-A District Court.
