Duartecommunity: The Duarte Gold Line Station has experienced a theft of cabling from the track causing damage to signal equipment. The cable theft has also affected the power pathway which has created an unsafe condition for train operations and maintenance inspectors to complete repairs under normal service conditions including an emergency single track. Emergency repairs will begin at 11:00 a.m. and require bus bridging from Duarte Station to the end of the line at Azusa/Citrus Station. Signals and Traction Power personnel are estimating 4-8 hours for repairs. Rail Operations personnel are standing by at the affected stations including Duarte. Metro apologies for the inconvenience.
