Suspect arrested for vandalism to City bus and Fire Station

Suspect:                     Christopher M. Nakamura,  33 years old, transient
           
Incident Summary:
 
On the above date and time, a reporting party called Petaluma PD stating a suspect had just thrown a chunk of concrete at Petaluma Fire Station 2 on North McDowell at Corona.  A second caller reported a similar matching suspect just threw a rock at a passing Petaluma Transit bus further south on North McDowell, causing a window to break.  A third caller reported a suspect had thrown a rock threw a window at a business on North McDowell and Transport.  PPD officers located the suspect matching the description and arrested him for felony vandalism.  No one was injured in any of the incidents and the estimated total damage was approximately $2000.00.  The fire station sustained minor damage to a wall. Suspect Nakamura was booked at Sonoma County Jail.
