Acting on tips from the public, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station detectives identified and arrested a man suspected of armed robbery at a Newhall massage parlor last month.

COBRA detectives identified the suspect as Louie Gonzalez, 22, of Santa Clarita. Gonzalez was arrested by detectives on Thursday afternoon.

At about 1:40 p.m. June 27, a man received a massage at a business on the 24000 block of Railroad Avenue. When the man attempted to make payment, he lifted his shirt revealing the butt of a handgun, and robbed the business.
