INCIDENT: Possession for sale of Marijuana and suspected mushrooms
LOCATION: Mountain View/ Business Center Drive, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Kevin Thompson, 27-year-old resident of Redlands
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, July 7, 2019, around 4:54 p.m. Deputy Ziemer was working uniform patrol assigned to the city of Loma Linda. Ziemer observed a silver Honda Accord driving northbound on Mountain View Avenue. Ziemer noticed the vehicle was displaying a false registration tag. Ziemer stopped the car for the violation and contacted the driver Kevin Thompson. Ziemer detained Thompson and searched the car. During a search of the car, Ziemer located a large amount of marijuana, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and a large amount of currency.
Ziemer booked Thompson into Central Detention Center for possession of marijuana for sales. His bail is set at $50,000.
